The girls...

I guess if I'm posting I better put a picture of the girls up. They are all doing so well. Mckenna and Carly have started the army crawling. It is just like having large ants underfoot with all of them moving at once. Sometimes I just scream and then I feel better. But they really are sweet girls--especially when they are asleep. Haha...
Here are my four fav. people in the whole world. L to R: Carly, Mckenna, Madison (and Kyle if you didn't guess which one he is)

L to R: Mckenna, Madison, Carly- So angelic...but I only had a moment to capture this...

Before this happened...

New House Color!

So, we have needed to paint our house for a few years now- it's looking faded. We were going to do it last summer but we all know what happened last summer. So that put our plans on hold until this spring. Last week, Kyle's mom came over to watch the girls, Kyle took the week off from work and we painted like mad! We painted the whole house in four days. That's silliness since two of the days were overcast and rainy or windy but we needed to get it done. We painted it yellow! I have always wanted a yellow house. Good grief, if my name is Sunny, I deserve a yellow house right? I think it turned out well don't you? I do know that I did not love painting it and I hope that we don't have to paint the outside of a house for a long time to come. I love painting interiors (walls, furniture, etc) but I did not love outside painting. Maybe if it would have been warmer it wouldn't have been so bad.

Then after the house was painted Kyle went with my dad and brothers up to Coeur d' Alene for a boys weekend of golf. Lucky him huh? Good thing he has a nice wife. My mom came over and watched the girls with me while they are gone.

But this weekend, I am going to be all alone with the girls and no lifelines to help. Kyle is going on a business trip to Tennessee Saturday through Wednesday. Ahhh! Hopefully he finds us all alive when he gets back! Just kidding, it shouldn't be too bad. The only thing that makes we a little claustrophobic is that I can't leave the house, even at night. I guess I can with them but that we be crazy. I only attempt that with doctor's appointments. Anyway, pictures of the house...
Before: When we first moved in Fall 2005. We did paint the eaves and garage door to look like...

This before (a week ago): I HATED the terra cotta brick for five years so I stained it red/brown and we changed the whole body, door, repainted trim to white and eaves to black.

After: Ahh... I feel so much better with the new colors. I can't help it that yellow, black and white are my favorite combination.

Side view...

And painted and made my own street number. The house feels so much happier now...

Happy 1st Birthday to our three little girls!

Gosh, I can't believe we have made it to a year--somewhat intact! The girls turned one year old today, technically they are adjusted 9-months old right now but today will always be their birthday. We celebrated their birthday on Sunday with family and it was pretty funny to watch them dig into their chocolate cake. Mckenna and Madison made a major mess and Madison ingested the majority of her cake, but Carly just kinda put a few fingers in it and then had no interest. She didn't even want to eat it when I gave her a broken off piece. She must not like to get dirty.... funny. Where the other two, the dirtier the better. I got my camera out for the pictures but it died right before I was taking the pictures. Luckily my mil got some pictures but I will have to wait a few weeks to get them and share them.... so just imagine chocolate cake everywhere.

I also was looking at pictures a year ago when the girls were born and had to have a look back. They have come so far and are doing so well. Madison is crawling everywhere and sitting up on her own as well as cruising the furniture. I'm sure she will be running before I know it. Mckenna and Carly are both just starting to crawl around (army crawl) and are loving that they can move around like their sister.

Sorry the pictures I took today aren't the best. We are painting the exterior of our house this week and so I pretty much ran in, took a picture and ran back out to keep painting (pictures will follow of the change in house color). Don't worry, I'm not leaving the girls alone, their Grandma is over from Wyoming to watch them for the week for us so we can get the house painted quickly. Next week I should have time to get some decent pictures of them at a year old.

So Happy Birthday girls. We love you so much and are so thrilled that you are in our family. We know Heavenly Father wanted you to be in our family and your Dad and Mom have been so blessed to have you in our lives! We love you! You are truly our miracle babies!
